Mission Statement

 

It is the mission of the Gilpin County Sheriff’s Office to serve the citizens and visitors of Gilpin County by providing the highest level of professional law enforcement, detention, court security, and victim services that protects and preserves the Constitutional Rights of the people, and mandates impartial enforcement of the law.  

 

The men and women of the Gilpin County Sheriff’s Office are entrusted to protect the lives and property of the citizens of Gilpin County, to preserve the peace, and to prevent crime and disorder in partnership with our community.
