• The Work-Share Program

  • The Work-Share Program provides an alternative to laying off employees by allowing them to keep working, but with fewer hours. While an employee is working fewer hours, he or she may be eligible to collect part of his or her regular unemployment benefits.​

• Unemployment

  • Unemployment benefits may be available to workers who have lost their job through no fault of their own. These biweekly benefit payments help job seekers focus on their path to employment and help lessen the negative impact that unemployment has on the economy. The initial processing time for a claim takes four to six weeks; then if it is determined you qualify to receive payment, you are paid every two weeks from a fund paid by employers.
